Thursday Thirteen - I Think...

Thirteen Things I Think (watch out)
  1. I think that if you do not get any emails in a 2 hours span at work that should be a sign that you can go home for the day.
  2. I think that an English major should never be left alone with Java code…trust me it is dangerous..for that matter CSS code is a bad idea too.
  3. I think that no matter what everyone should be able to get 8 hours of sleep a night
  4. …and 3 full meals a day
  5. I think that a mandatory day at the spa should be instituted for every woman twice a year once in the spring and once in the fall.
  6. I think that tampons and birth control should be subsidized by the government.
  7. I think that Bush should just stop being President now.
  8. I think that everyone should get July or August off; and that it should switch yearly to be fair.
  9. I think that it should cost A LOT less to adopt a child who is living in an orphanage already. Like it should be FREE except for the cost of travel.
  10. I think everyone should be sent to their room for a nap at least once a day
  11. I think that no one should have to deal with a serious illness or disease more than once in their life
  12. I SERIOUSLY think that we should go to a 4 day work week
  13. I think that if 10 people read this I will be lucky!
I think that if you do not get any emails in a 2 hours span at work that should be a sign that you can go home for the day.

I agree with pretty much most of those. So, how shall we set about achieving these?

I function much better on a 4 day week - just doesn't happen often enough. I do get July and August off each year and it is lovely. And yes, Bush should retire, should have long ago - in fact Bush Sr. shouldn't have had children period. And I live in Canada.

At work when we don't get any emails for a period of time we say "the internet is down". I strongly agree with 3,5,9,10 & 12. Great TT

You've accomplished No. 13! Four-day work weeks and mandatory sleep would be sensible laws!

8 hrs. of sleep? Sigh. I remember the days when I could get more than six. It was before I had kids.

Don't know which one you have to delete, but you forgot massage at least once a week.
