A Face with a Name
This morning I received information from CCF on the child that I am sponsoring. She is completely adorable and I only hope that the $24 a month that I am donating can help her and her family in some way. Here is the blurb that they sent me on her.
Tenzin Tsetan is from a very poor Tibetan refugee family now settled in India. The father has been provided with a small piece of land by the Indian Government, where he works for long and tiring hours, but earns only a pittance of about US $113 per annum, to support the family. The mother tries hard to make ends meet with what is at hand, but there is abounding privation. Keen on educating this child, but unable to do so on their own, the parents sought aid from this project. Tenzin Tsetan is too young to attend the school. She is growing sweetly under the loving care of her mother. She enjoys playing with toys. Her health is normal. She has moles on her face. Tenzin Tsetan has one brother and one sister. Your sponsorship is a great blessing to this needy family.
